THE MORE PRACTICE, THE PROFESSOR YOU ARE!

     Today I was very tired because I sleep late for 2 nights and woke up very early. I have 2 class both grade 10 and 11. I think I will use all my energy to teach my students. In grade 11, I’m very nervous because my mentor teacher joined in the class to observe me. I taught about narrative text. Before I started class I divided students into 5 groups and I give a piece of paper of the narrative text such as The smartest animals. Then students have to arrange the story into correct paragraph. After they finished I explained about narrative text about what is narrative text, orientation, complication, resolution and language features. Next, I assigned students to arrange the story again but it is from the book. The last activity, I command students to make a groups of 3 persons for creative the story but it based on orientation complication and resolution when they finished their work. They have to present their story in front the class. Students were really enjoy their work and did a great job. For grade 10 I continued the lesson, I started by letting students to play a game of dividing the words that I provide into the correct past of speech. Then I started to explain of noun phrase and gave them about the example of noun phrase. After I finished I let them to do a quiz of noun phrase. I was surprise some students got full points and some got 18-19 from 20 but some got 8-17 also. I gave them a homework about using adjective to modify a noun.

   I think today is the tires day of me but it is my fantastic day for me also because I taught my lovely student and they are really enjoy with me. 

My first class in Pelita Nusantara school

       Today was my challenge day for me because I had to observe in the Global perspective class at 10.30-12.00 with Mr. Hundri who is a teacher teach in this class. But something that I cannot believed that Mr. Hindri was absent in this class and my mentor teacher told me that you have to teach students. Moreover, I did not have book for global perspective class and I did not have any idea about global perspective before. However, I had to teach them in grade 11A and 11B by using the topic from internet. There were 3 topics together: 1.what word is the best describe yourself? 2. Which is the most important between beauties / handsome or intelligent? 3. Which is do you prefer by do homework and no homework?. Students are divided into two team that is agree and disagreed. If someone disagreed must be in the same team and think to support your idea, It made students really joyful and they can share their idea in front the class. I used the same activity for both class. After I finished the class my mentor teacher command me to start teaching on Wednesday in English subject of grade 10 and 11 for military class. It was my good news for me to practice my teaching but I have to send my lesson plan before I start the class. It was my busy work again. I though today is my challenge day for me because since morning I have a lot of challenge things to do.

How is Bandung

         Today was my first day that I went to observe in the Pelita Nusantara school. In the morning, I joined stand in line and show respect for ceremony that was held every Monday and I introduced myself to all of students. After that, I discussed with my mentor about the class I have to teach students four days for a week. It was about ESL and Global perspective class. Then, I started to observe students in grade 10. At the beginning of the class, I observed in ESL class teacher teach about reading of airport. Teacher gave a time for 15 minutes to do a pre – test, Then teacher called the name of students and read the paragraph and teacher asked student about unfamiliar words. Some students understood all the paragraph but some students did not know the meaning of the vocabulary. Which words that student did not know they wrote on the board and check the meaning and wrote on the board. At the last of this class, teacher assigned students to do exercise and present their answer in front the class. In the afternoon, I had to observe Global perspective class and the same grad also. Teacher presented a topic to students about Population Growth Restricted which are consists of 5 sub-topic; 1 what is the restricted population? 2 who has responsibilities the population growth? 3. Which country or place do you think must to restricted the population? 4. When should government think about restricted the population? 5. How to solve it? Then, Teacher ordered students work in pair to share the idea with friends and present in front of the class. Before ending the class, Teacher gave a time to student to ask me some questions that they need to know about me. I think today is a very a good day for me because I can see my students and know them also. Moreover I met student in the Papaya mall they know me and show their respect by touch my hand and hold my hand touch their head.

Life In Bandung

     This is my first time of my life to go to study in education inUniversitas Pendidikan Indonesia university (UPI). I spend my time in Bandung city of Indonesia for practicing teaching in school only 1 month. I would like to say sorry to Dr. Usa because I did not tell her that I came here for a month. From now on I will tell you about my journey, I departed from Thailand at 6.00 on Sunday and I arrived Kulalumpur at 10.10.Then, I spended my time for waiting my flight from Kurlalumpur to Bandung. I arrived here at 14.00. My new friends from Indonesia and The Philippines picked me up at the airport. The first time I meet them I'm very nervous about my English skill that I can talk with them or not. Then, we started to talk and get to know each others. They are very kind and friendly for me. After that, I arrived at dormitory I found a lot of Thai student and 2 Philippinno. They came from different university such as CMRU, CRU, VRU and PNRU. Then, we went to the mall and had our dinner there. I bough internet sim card and I had steamed fish curry there  that is quite spicy and salty. I think it is very different with thai taste and not delicious for me. In dormitory, They provided a bad accommodation for us such as damage bed and no wifi, no fan here. But, I can solve this problem. The weather in Bandung city is like the northern part of Thailand and raining everyday. I'm hopefully I have a great day in Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia university (UPI).

First Impression

     Yesterday was the first class of me and Dr. Usa after a Discourse Approach in Reading subject I semester 2/2557. I was very happy and proud to study with her again because she has too much knowledge and she has a dean of our faculty of Humanities and social Science of Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat university. Before class I thought this subject is about how to make English seminar but this subject about searching the information about English language pedagogy and preparing students to perceive up to date the information about teaching. At the beginning of the class, teacher greeted and assigned student to think about English teaching that we have learnt already; English teaching Methodology I, Cultures of speakers of English, Learning English though project and English language Assessment and Evaluation. After this, teacher assigned us to think about what content that we have learnt in each class. Then we started to discuss with my friends which is about English Teaching Methodology. After that, we presented in front of the class to the another groups. I think teacher needed to know student's background because she can decide her topic for my friends and I. Before time up, Teach explained  a course syllabus of this subject. After I know what will I have to meet in this semester I'm very worry about that because I do not have a good reading skill but this subject I have to read a lot such as journal. research and article. But, I think I will pass this subject and I have to try hard more than my friends.
